Little Snow Bunny!

Well we woke up to white this morning! I woke Payton up at 8...she was up from 4-5 that little stink pot! It is supposed to keep snowing most of the day! Yea...her first real snow!! We went out and took a few pics before her morning nap. She really loved it! Thanks Aunt Jenny for the warm snow outfit! Daddy played with us when he got home...just for a minute, it was a little too cold for him!

Winter Toys

Well what a wonderful Sunday! It started out very chilly as we took Payton to Church. We have been having her sit in the service with us because she just sleeps the whole time and doesn't make a peep...but today we decided to take her into the nursrey. I guess it was about time since she is almost 6 months old....but that is hard on a momma! I have the hardest time leaving her anywhere. She went into the cuddly cubs room and had a good time, was an angel like she is (they didn't take her out of her carseat though and I had a cow! But it has been taken care of and things are fine...)

Then the weather really warmed up and we went to Lake Fayetteville with our friends the Stams....Corbin and Brian rode mountain bikes and Alesha and I walked the trails. First of all let me say that my calves are like rocks and I cannot walk today because we ended up on this new trail that was over 2 miles long- but then we had to turn around and walk back! We ended up walking almost 6 miles and for this post baby mom that was a haul!! But the weather was amazing and I tried out my new jogging stroller...next time we will remember to air up the tires....and Brian got to try out his bike I bought his for his b-day. I was glad to be able to get Payton out of the house and in the fresh air....it is supposed to be in the 60's again today so maybe we will go on another walk...one not quite as long!

My little scooter...

We have had a very uneventful Saturday- but a good one. Payton is getting so close to crawling! She puts those knees under her so fast it is amazing! I can't wait to see her crawl- but can at the same time... She is growing up so fast and sometimes I just want to hit the pause button...but then I wonder what we did all the time when she was a newborn and couldn't interact with us at all?? Oh this is so much fun!

Biggest week yet

Ok...this has been the best week! Payton has made one big accomplishment after another everyday! I guess between 5 and 6 months babies reach a lot of milestones. On Monday she grabbed her paci and put it back in her mouth- she has been able to grab it for awhile, but now she could contort in so it fit into her mouth! On Tuesday she got up on her hands and knees and started rocking back and forth! She scootes backwards, not forewards....but it is progress! On Wednesday I was sitting in the recliner at my mom's house in LR where there is a big light above us....not normal... and I looked down and saw a glimmer in her mouth....A TOOTH!!!! YES I SAID A TOOTH!!! I couldn't believe it! I started crying because that means my sweet little baby isn't a baby- she is getting to be such a big girl! There are three little white bumps that have popped through the gum- I am telling you perfect baby who didn't become fussy, no fever, or any of the other things that come with teething! Perfection. I am not done yet, this week is not over...on Thursday she started reaching out towards you when you want to hold her! It is so precious! She is so precious.....an absolute gift. Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve so much.

Ist attempt

Well- This is my first attempt at blogging! I have been inspired by my friend Kerry Boulware who is a faithful blogger....She keeps telling me that this is so easy and fun and a great way for friends to keep in touch so here goes! There isn't much to report now- just how much I love my daughter! She has begun spitting when she laughs with her tounge...it is soooo cute. Her little personality has really come out. I just look at her and am still amazed that she is mine, and she is so precious! She seriously is the best baby ever to grace my presence. Hope everyone is doing well!
