Payton's first day of KDO!

This Thursday was Payton's first day of Kids Day Out! She is going 2 days we week this year, and we are both really excited about it. Her teachers are Ms Becca and Ms Kara, and Becca and I are great friends so I know she will be super taken care of...even though she did stick a jelly bean up her nose on the first day!!

Here is the have to be taken picture by the door!

Obviously she likes the house in her classroom!

Standing by her name on the wall where she puts her nap mat...

I have been eyeing this shirt for awhile, and I finally got it for her...it fits perfectly with her love of shoes! She takes after her mom...what can I say :)

Parker's Dedication

The same weekend as Payton's birthday party we had Parker dedicated at church. It was such a special time. It was great to have all of our family there and share in the experience. Parker wore the same outfit that Brian and his brother Nathan wore when they were christened, and it fit him like a glove...another week and we would have been too late, this boy is growing like a weed! But he looked adorable in it.

My baby's 3!

I can't believe that Payton is 3! She decided to have a Razorback party this year, which was fine with me because we just made it one big tailgate! And we know how to tailgate in this family! We had some highschool cheerleaders come and they were a huge hit. They tumbled for the girls and did jumps, it was awesome. It was a little hot by the end of the party, but we had shade in the "holding pen" and we had soooo much fun! I love you sweet Payton!

July Catch-up

Oh my have we been busy...doing not much! How has this summer flown by already? Here are some random pictures from July to give a small glimpse of how we are changing! Parker is getting so big...I am really looking forward to his doctor's appt tomorrow to see just how big he is! He is rolling over all the time and so smiley! He is such a happy baby! We are sooo blessed. Payton is becoming such a big girl. She is my helper at home, and loves her little brother. He laughes just looking at her!

Here are some more pics from the 4th of July...we went to church and then after a relaxing day we did some fireworks here before we went to the Church at Pinnacle Hills for thier firework show...it was awesome! It was so fun for Brian and I to experience the joy in Payton's face and expressions during the show. She was sooo excited and kept screaming and clapping, it was priceless. Parker on the other hand...watched for a while, I could actually see his head following them to the sky...and then he was out! Who knew he could be such a sound sleeper!

These sweet lips are soooo kissable! I love them!

It is amazing to me that Parker is already grabbing and playing with things! He loves playing with the parrot on his bouncy seat and it is so fun to watch him go at it!

A few nights ago the sunset was so pretty that Brian got Payton up out of bed so she could go see it. The funniest part was Friday morning, Payton woke up a little early and said, "Daddy! I see the sunset! Want to go see the sunset??" Or...sunrise my dear! It was pretty to!

Happy 4th of July!

Tomorrow is the 4th and we celebrated by making a flag cake...Yummy!!

She's a big girl now !

That's a thumbs up baby! Well I can't say baby anymore because this big girl kept her bed dry last night for the first time!!! I told her that if she kept her bed dry we could go get doughnuts this morning...and they were good! She even went in her jammies! We will see if she keeps it up!

I just love this picture of Payton....she was running around me in circles, and I caught this precious smile I get to see all day!

We have a big boy on our hands! We went to the Dr. on Monday and we weight 13 pounds! Payton was 6 months old before she weighed that much! That is the 95th percentile for weight and he was 23 inches which is 90th percentile for height!Parker did have to have 3 shots...booo! He had a shiny band-aids and all! He ran a fever for a few days, but it didn't seem to phase him one bit!

Summer fun

We are so enjoying this summer and all the fun it is holding! Parker is getting a little personality and Payton is showing hers off to the fullest! I can already tell we will be spending lots of time in the water outside because it is sooo hot! These kiddos are the best..and aren't they the cutest!

Close call!

I had to take these pics before church a few weeks ago...the kids looked so cute, and we were all actually ready a few minutes early! I labeled this a close call because after church we had planned to go to chilies for lunch with some friends, and Payton decided to get sick in the parking lot...twice! I am so glad it wasn't in the car or in the restaurant! But I was so worried about Parker because Payton had been kissing on him all morning! Thankfully we were all ok, and after a day or so Payton started to feel better.

Parkers first bottle!

Well Brian got to feed Parker his first bottle a few weeks ago. I wanted to wait until he was a month old before we tried it, and he did great! He sucked it right down! He has now take a bottle 4 or 5 times since then, and we are good to go! I feel like a free woman!

Payton and her coaches with her trophy!

A few weeks ago (yes I am playing major blog catch up!) My uncle John came and brought Parker his baby's first art. I think they are precious! I am going to get a big frame and frame around all of them. It was great for him to be here and hang out with us. He even went with us to Payton's last soccer game. We had such a fun time watching her and this has definitely been a learning season! She really does love playing and she has a really good kick!

Tummy Time...

Parker loves his tummy time! He would sleep so well on his tummy if we let him! Good thing he likes his back! Anyway...he is getting so good at holding his head up, even though it isn't the best pic of him, it shows how strong his neck is...and his big sister decided she needed some tummy time too!

All Smiles

Well this fun little boy has decided to learn to smile! And his sister loves him so much! We are having so much fun being a family of four, and Payton is such a good big sister, she can't get enough of him! She is so sweet with him and really is a big help being able to go get things for me and she loves to hold him.

Baseball has been very very good to me!

Well this year we really enjoyed going to Razorback baseball games. We went while I was pregnant, and Brian and Payton went after Parker was born to give me some free nights! Payton really has had fun sitting in the outfield and singing the "star spanglel bannel" and looking for Ribby. We dedided when it wasn't raining for this game that it would be a good time for Parker to come! We brought 2 cars just in case, and Brian and Payton went early to get seats. He lasted the whole game until the 9th inning when it started raining and we headed fast to the car where he ate dinner! There were fireworks that night and Payton LOVED them! Such a fun night!
