Gymboree!! Happy Birthday Paige!

Saturday we went to Gymboree for our friend Paige's 2nd Birthday. We had so much fun, and P ran all over the place! She loved the trampolines, the slides, and all the balls. We are going to have to go back so she can play some more. Happy Birthday Paige!
It only took me three washes to get the pink icing out of her shirt...

Daily Summer Fun...

Some more just random pics from our daily summer life, which I am loving!!! We have a pretty good routine down, and this week we had so much fun!
Payton woke up this one morning and went straight for her high heels and yard tools!


At the library on Wednesday, Payton really got into the computer, there was an Elmo game that she couldn't take her eyes off of...

Guess who has pink toes!! Payton LOVES having her "no-nails" painted, she did so good and sat so still. I thought it would get everywhere, but she did great! I just love those chubby toes!

Are we ready for school yet?

This Thursday we went with our friend Presley to her church where they had a preschool/mom art day. As we walked in the classroom, Payton was a little reserved, and clung to my leg, but it didn't take her long to realize she wasn't getting dropped off, and off she went to play! She pulled out the chair and sat right down.
First they made coffee filter butterfly magnets, and then colored with markers, and then tie-dyed their shirts!

Random Summer Fun!

We are having such a fun summer, here is a glimpse of the cute face I get to see all day long!
Payton loves looking at herself in the mirror...and if you notice the shoes..I don't think an hour goes by when she doesn't say, "off off" and point to my shoes. I take them off and she promptly puts them on!

Making some rice krispies...I had a meeting for work, and had such a good helper in the kitchen!

ok...well we have discovered gum. I didn't give it to her, I guess she is just really observant. On Friday before we left to go out of town, I was loading the car, and she wanted to "drive" so I let her. Well...she locked herself in the car and ate almost my whole pack of gum! Thank goodness Daddy got home with the spare keys!

In Springdale, they have summer kid movies for 2 bucks! So this week we went and Payton loved it! She sat so good in her chair, and the popcorn helped keep here there...There were lots of lots of our friends there too!

Happy Birthday Grandad!!

Brian's Dad had a big birthday this weekend! It is flag day, so earlier in the day, Payton and Granna Sue decorated his cake earlier that morning, and Payton had so much fun with the colored icing. Needless to say she had a red and blue mouth for awhile!
The icing on the flag stick sure taste good!

I think I really want some of that cake!!


Thank goodness we didn't put that many candles on the cake...Payton might have had a hard time blowing all of them out!

Pool Fun!

This weekend we went to LR for Brian's dad's B-day. My friend Rachel and her little boy George came over to swim, and we had so much fun playing and spashing in the pool. Both kids were little fishes and loved the water!

After all that swimming we had to cool off with a pop-cicle..Brian's mom found these with Jello that were the perfect size and didn't melt as fast!



Payton loved the adult float. It was like her own little pool. We are going to have to invest in one!

Birthdays and Buds

I can't believe that the day has come that Presley has turned 2! You know what that means....that in 2 months, Payton will be 2 also! YIKES!! We went to Fun City to celebrate with her, and had so much fun, the kids played in all the tunnels and rode the kiddie rides. Happy Birthday Presley!!!

Ok...do you see something you have never seen before??? Look close...P has a pony tail! It is small I know, but it is so cute!


We have also been going to the library this summer, it is great to get out and have a place to be every week. This week our friend Paige met us there, and the girls danced and sang along. Can't wait till next week!

Little Stinker...

I was shocked when the Payton's nap was nearing 3 hours and wondering how I was ever going to get her back to bed that night...when I heard a tiny peep and went into check on her and she had taken a book off her book shelf and was relaxing in her bed just reading, so quiet and content. There is no telling how long she had been like that, it is totally her personality to read quietly on her own....such a sweet gift she is!

This week we walked to the park with our friend Ava and then met our friend Andie there. We started out on the little playground and then moved on to the bigger one. The girls loved the big slide and Payton even decided she wanted to climb the ladder to the top! She is such a daredevil and stopped my heart while she did it...
