Hot on wheels!

Today we went to our friend Alina's house for a little pre-Halloween fun, we let the kids dress up and the parents ohh and ahh at the cute costumes. She popped some pizzas in the oven and we had so much fun. Before we left I let Payton sit in the jeep that was outside. I thought she would be a little timid as I pressed the petal down, but she started laughing! So I presed the petal down a little longer and she loved it!! So, I showed her how to do it, and she took her foot, pressed it down, and never looked back! I think that we have the first thing on her Christmas list! Josie loved watching her use her jeep...thanks Josie for sharing!

We love our Grand Jenny!

We had a special treat this week, my Aunt Jenny from Texas came to visit us for a night. Payton had a lot of fun with her, as did I! She loves her new toys and her new frog jacket...we wish that we could see her more often, but cherish the times that we can!

Camping Part Deux...

Here are some more pics from our trip...we went hiking on Saturday and Payton loved being on Daddy's back! (thanks Pearce for the backpack!) It was sooo chilly, but the girls did great in the mornings, and it warmed up for the walk.

Payton peeking into Presley's tent..."are you in there?..."

Here are the adults after the kiddos went to sleep on the first night...Alesha made the best dump cake in the dutch oven! Yummy!

Camping Part 1

Last weekend we went to Lost Valley, on the buffalo, and went camping!! It was Payton's first camping experience and she loved it! She did amazing and we had so much fun with her. The pictures are a little out of order, and Alesha took a lot of pictures on her camera so stay tuned for more great hiking pics.
We got to the camp site on Friday afternoon and set up the tents and let the girls explore. The it got a little cooler...and cooler...and then it was freezing!! Be bundled the girls up, but them to bed, and the adults huddled by the fire.

In the morning, Payton peeked into the Stams tent..."Presley...are you up?? It's time to come out and play!"

Good Morning Presley!!

Here are the girls all bundled up eating some breakfast by the fire...and we didn't even get one burn!

Payton and Daddy by the campfire...

On the way to the campground...just a little light reading...

Payton discovered the cookies before dinner...if you look closely..there is one in each hand...and she wouldn't loose that grip!

Presley and Payton both had a diaper rash...so we set up the "pee pen" and let them run free! You are supposed to be free in the great outdoors right!?

Front door arrangement

Last week when my mom was here we went and bought some hay and mums to decorate our front door. We used the pummkins from the pumpkin patch and they made quite a cute arrangement! If the overalls that Payton has on look a little masculine...it is because they are my brothers! Or were my brothers I should say..he is now 20 and can't fit into them anymore. Payton has loved having the pumpkins out our front door, she runs to the window all the time to look out and point at the pumpkins, then goes and finds all the other ones that are around the house. My fall baby is growing up and she looks so big in these pictures!

That's sleeping for you!

Last night Brian looked at the moniter and this is what he saw! She was spralled out and sleeping so well! Doesn't this just make you want to go take a nap...notice the foot action in between the slats...hillarious! She is such a good sleeper..she sleeps about 12 hours at night and we are in the transition period with naps..but she is so flexible, it is wonderful..I don't think we will have another child, we are too spoiled with this one. Oh, you know we will one day.

Happy Birthday Ava Kate!

This weekend we went to our friend Ava's first birhtday party! It was scheduled for last weekend, but Ava got sick and they had to postpone...which turned out great because the weather was awesome and we had so much fun outside at their house! Jessie did a great job on the party and a good time was had by all! Happy Birthday Ava!!

What a difference a year makes...

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by...we were so lucky to go back to the same pumpkin patch this year and get some of the same pictures that we did last year...just a little bit older and a little bit bigger...Payton that is :) It was so fun this year, she didn't fall asleep in the middle of the photo shoot, and she was running around all over the place! She is our little pumpkin, and she is a keeper!

Pumpkin Patch

This afternoon we went to the pumpkin patch in pea ridge, and had so much fun! It was the perfect weather to pick a few pumpkins, go on a hay ride, and get dirty!

Payton and Daddy getting off the hay ride

I think this one would be nice...

Presley...isn't this a hoot! We love this place!

Payton and mommy in the wagon..

I tell you...that is the cutest farmer I have ever seen!
