Now we're cookin!
Well, it has been a long time since we bought this fun play house from our friend Pearce, and it was my goal to find a cheap kitchen to keep outside in it. Granna Sue became the garage sale queen and she found one in Little Rock. Only one problem...it was in Little Rock! It would never fit in the back of my Honda with all our other travel things, so we had a friend bring it up for us and now it is in its place! Payton loves it and I can tell there are going to be many yummy meals to come!

We are so proud of you daddy!
This is not the picture that I wanted to put here...I will keep looking for it, but at about this same time, Brian started his Masters at the University of Arkansas. There were many hard nights, but we pressed through it knowing that we would rather get it over with now while Payton was small. After almost 2 years, Brian is done!!! He took his final test last night!! Brian, we are so proud of you. You have put our famliy first and made your school seem effortess, when I know it was hard. You have such dedication and work ethic. We love you so much!!

Happy 4th!
"Neighbor"hood Parade
The reason we went to Dallas, was for Brian's uncle's, Jeff neighbors, retirement, or "independance day" party on the 4th. Their neighborhood had a kids parade on Saturday morning and it was so fun (and hot). Payton rode in an antique wagon for the first minute or two, then we resorted to Daddy's shoulders. She was so cute waving her flags, and waving to all the neighbors who were watching as we passed by.

Ranger Game
My Brother Mitchell is got a job this year with the Texas Rangers. He treated us to a game on Friday night, and we had so much fun despite the fact that when we got there it was 104 degrees. We sat in the shade and there was a breeze so it wasn't that bad. The mist-er was a hit before we left, it felt so good! The ballgame was great, we almost caught a foul ball, and we got to see some of the Ranger offices behind the scenes. Thanks Bro!

A cheesy lunch with Great Uncle John
We went to Dallas for the 4th of July, and on Thursday we got to go to my uncle's frame shop in the design district in Dallas. Payton had such a fun time playing hide and seek in between the frames! We went to lunch at a yummy restaurant called Margeaux. I was a little nervous when we walked in to black table cloths, but Payton was a complete lady and she did so good. She sat in her chair, put her napkin in her lap, and ate her sandwich...which was a so cheesy!! Thanks for a fun lunch!

I love Elmo!
As I have heard, every kid goes through an Elmo stage, and I think we have hit it. If you know me at all, you know that I can't stand character T-shirts, or things that have winnie the pooh on them, but this one I couldn't pass up! So I got one for our friend Presley too and we wore them to the movies last week.
