Tummy Time...

Parker loves his tummy time! He would sleep so well on his tummy if we let him! Good thing he likes his back! Anyway...he is getting so good at holding his head up, even though it isn't the best pic of him, it shows how strong his neck is...and his big sister decided she needed some tummy time too!

Well this fun little boy has decided to learn to smile! And his sister loves him so much! We are having so much fun being a family of four, and Payton is such a good big sister, she can't get enough of him! She is so sweet with him and really is a big help being able to go get things for me and she loves to hold him.

Baseball has been very very good to me!

Well this year we really enjoyed going to Razorback baseball games. We went while I was pregnant, and Brian and Payton went after Parker was born to give me some free nights! Payton really has had fun sitting in the outfield and singing the "star spanglel bannel" and looking for Ribby. We dedided when it wasn't raining for this game that it would be a good time for Parker to come! We brought 2 cars just in case, and Brian and Payton went early to get seats. He lasted the whole game until the 9th inning when it started raining and we headed fast to the car where he ate dinner! There were fireworks that night and Payton LOVED them! Such a fun night!

This weekend we had my shower for Parker at my friend Cassie's house, so special that was where Payton's sip and see was! My friends did AWESOME, and the shower was soo great. Parker got some wonderful things, and it was so good to see friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Sharon, my friend from D.C. has moved back to arkansas and she came up with my mother in law and brian's cousins.

My Great Uncle Bob

Weekend before last, I mananged to make it home to Little Rock with Parker and Payton for my Great Uncle Bob's funeral. He was such a wonderful man, and as much as it was sad to see him go, it really was such a blessing. And now, he is with the Lord and that is even better! One of the great things about this weekend was that all of my mom's brothers and her sister made it into town, and they haven't all been together since my wedding! It was so wonderful to see them all. They got to meet Parker too which was such good timing.

Meeting Family

this past weekend we went to little rock for my great uncles funeral (more pics of that later) and we went over to brian's parents house so parker could meet his great grandpa porbeck and his uncle nate. we had a great night and payton loved playing outside with "unc" and it was so special for grandpa to get to be with parker!

Parker Robert Porbeck

He is here! After much anticipation and guessing....it is a boy! I cannot tell you how shocked I was! I said that I thought it was a boy, but the reality when he arrived had me laughing. I just couldn't believe it....a boy. He is precious and more perfect than words. He arrived at 1:37pm on Wednesday. We stayed in the hospital for 2 days to get some rest, and when we arrived home Payton was so excited to see us! She did the big sister dance....so cute. We have had some adjusting to do at home with her, but overall she is doing pretty good. We will just have to see how things go!
