Bikes, Blues, and BBQ
Saturday night we took the girls out for their first night on Dickson! We went with our friends the Stams to Bikes, Blues, and BBQ. It was so fun watching all the bikes, and the girls had such a good time. They weren't scared by the noise at all, they loved it! The bikes were awesome and so was the people watching! Man...there are some strange folks out there. The BBQ was good, and the corn dogs hit the spot...yum! I have to have fair food at least once a year!

Kawneer Company Picnic
Saturday was the Kawneer company picnic! The weather was wonderful, the food was great, and we had such a good time meeting all the people that Daddy works with. There were lots of games to play and prizes to win, but we just came away with a good time.

Payton got to be a big girl in the swings with mr. brad!

We also had our first snow cone..and it probably won't be the last, she loved it!

Daddy got to be in the Royal Flush tank...his employees nominated him! He had to stay in it for 30 minutes! The line was so long, everyone wanted to get a shot at him, he was such a good sport and we can't wait until next year!

A sad woo pig
We were so excited that Payton got to go to the Razorback game on Saturday...she was all decked out and ready to go! Don't get me wrong, we had a wonderful time, just watched a sad game :) She did awesome in the seats..thank you Stephanie for that treat! We stayed most of the game and she called the hogs with the best of them...and then sacked out as soon as we hit the car. She met lots of new friends up in the club seats and we can't wait for her to go back with hopefully a better outcome! Our poor hogs need some help!
Payton really can call the hogs, the video doesn't do her justice :)

It's just a duck...
Today we had such a fun day...every Wednesday the library has toddler time and so we went with Payton's friends Andie Kate and Ava Kate! After we sang songs and did finger plays we went to feed the ducks in the pond. We brought bread..which Payton ate and never shared with the ducks. While we were squatting and feeding the ducks, I felt a little peck peck on my rear end...I turned around and there was a duck poking me in the butt! I was a little shocked, but since Jesse grew up with a lot of animals..she started feeding the duck and it was so cute! I was a still nervous and then came the quote..."Meredith, it's just a duck!" The girls were precious and we can't wait to go back next week!
Past week..
I guess I can't get my mind off the beach enough to post a new blog...I just want to sit and stare at the slide show day! We have had loved being back home, playing with all her toys. Our Bible study started back up last Tuesday so Payton is getting some social time with her friends...here are some pics of my big girl! She looks so cute in her new outfits and now that it is getting cooler she can wear them...and she has grown into her new shoes too..she is a size 4 and probably will be a 5 soon!
Presley came over to watch the hog game last saturday and the kids took a bath together...it was so fun, and I would post the video..but it shows just a little too much :)

A week of fun...
Ok...well we took so many pictures that I had to just make a slide show. I hope that you have a couple hours to watch it! We had the best week ever. It was full of relaxing and recouping. The weather was so great until Hurricane Hannah decided to end our trip a day early...which was sad, but we made the right call leaving.
Payton had so much fun in the water at the beach, she walked right into the waves and wasn't scared at all! It only took one time of her eating a handfull of sand to realize that wasn't such a great idea! If you are ever looking for a vacation spot where there is nothing to do but relax...we recommend this one!

Payton and Asher playing in the pool....
We are having such a fun time at the beach with our friends the Cowells. The weather has been perfect..not to hot, but hot enough to tan! This morning we woke up and Brian went to play golf. We headed down to the pool while Payton took her nap and when she woke up we headed to the beach to let her have her first sand experience! She loved it and got so wet in the waves that we had to let her roam bare....it was too cute. We have just been hanging out and relaxing...there is not much to do here, which is so fine by me. Nothing is wonderful. There are wild horses that come up and eat the grass by the house and then run on the beach....they are descendant of the Spanish horses that were brought here in 1600. Pretty neat. There are so many pics that I want to show...I should just make a slide show of our time here...maybe stay tuned for that.
