A sweet treat from Lousiana via Little Rock
Yum-o! Brian's dad goes to Lousiana every other week for work and sent us up a King cake! Payton helped open the box and then got a little taste and needless to say we know she has a sweet tooth! She wore the beads that came with it out to dinner and I had to finally take them off when we put her jammies on!

Baby Bumble Bee!
This morning Payton decided to be a performer....which wasn't so hard for my little singer...She had her stage and everything. I would like to apologize for the background vocals..I can't stand hearing my voice on tape and everytime I decide I am going to talk normal from now on...it never happens. Enjoy!!

Valentine Goodies
Well we were so excited to get some goodies in the mail from Payton's Grand Jenny! She bought her the cutest red and pink valentine clothes and Payton loved them! The jeans were a hit since we have had a growing spurt, we have outgrown all our jeans! She also got a Backyardigans book from Granjann which she LOVES! It keeps her attention forever and now she is mastering the names, so far we have "Pablo and Tasha" down and understandable, and the rest of them we are still working on!
Granna Sue also got her the cutest bathing suit and cover-up. It will be perfect for this spring when we hit the pool...sorry there are no pictures of it....it will have to get out if the 30's for us to try that one on!

She looks so old in this picture! I can't believe how big she is getting!

Happy Valentines Day!
Payton with a face full of hershey kisses! She is my sweet tooth (and no that is not why she is in the 95th percentile! I hardly ever give her sweets) It was valentines day so she had to have some chocolate for dessert!

But it sure is fun to play "where is payton"...what makes this day any different than the others?

Huh...what is this chocolate doing all over my hands? It taste much better in my mouth...

18 months fly by!
Happy Birthday Payton Anne! You were 18 months yesterday! We had a wonderful day, and luckily the shot you got at the Dr. hasn't phased you a bit!
Here are your new stats:
Height: 33 3/4in 95%tile
Weight: 28.8 lbs 94%tile
WOW! You have grown so much! I remember when you were smaller, you were in the 10th, then 20th percentile! You are such a big girl!

Oh, just shakin it a little bit!

Ice Storm 09
Here are some pictures from the ice storm that hit NWA this week. It has been quite a week, and we were some of the lucky ones that are still with power. We lost it once last night for about an hour, and that was scary enough for us...we are sooo grateful that we were warm. Brian's plant was without power so it was such a treat for me to wake up with him this morning since he didn't have to go to work...normally he is gone pretty early, long before I wake up! We had a fun day getting outside and looking around at all the damage...
Our backyard...just missing the fence..

Accross the street...

Daddy and Payton on our adventure walk this morning...

The grass! I thought this was pretty neat!

Our front yard...

Nothing like jammies, shades, and a bowless headband!

Payton and "her" boots...she already has style

Hogs vs. Auburn
We got the opportunity to take Payton to her 1st Basketball game this season. She LOVED it! It was even more special for us to watch her have so much fun. She clapped and danced to the band, and couldn't keep her little feet still. When the band would stop, she would say, "more more!" She kept pointing at the band and all the lights, and it was such a fun afternoon...good thing she can't keep score yet...yikes! We heard on the radio it was the worst home loss since the 50-51' season...whoa! Getting a lift from dad on the way out!
She clapped all through lunch...beans in hand and all!
This video is so cute! It doesn't show all her enthusiasm, but it was still precious!
