We're so sporty!

My parents came to visit this week to help me work and to celebrate Pop Pop's birthday and Brian's graduation. We decided after the rain stopped to head to the Naturals game. The weather was AWESOME! The breeze was cool, and it was the perfect night for a ballgame. We were given free tickets when we arrived from Arvest bank, and then it was kids night! The kids got a free hot dog, chips, and a drink. Payton had never had a hot dog before...I know I am a weird mom, she is almost 2 and has never had a hot dog...but anyway, she LOVED it! You can see she couldn't eat it fast enough! Brian's quote for the night, "We should come to these games more often when we get in free and get free food..." That is my hubby!




Last weekend we went with Daddy to play a 9 hole course by our house. Payton loved driving the cart and riding along with the wind blowing through her hair. This is something we will defiantly be doing again!

It's a zoo out there!

Last week we got to go to the Tulsa Zoo with the "Senior Adults" from First Baptist Springdale. Our friend Alesha's dad is the pastor there, and he was driving the big bus, so we got to go along! The pictures are backwards, but you can tell that we had such a good time. The weather was more that perfect, it felt like Fall, and we enjoyed all the animals and then we went to Piccadilly Cafe for lunch!

Some of my favorite things...

I decided to have P help me water the plants the other day. Granna Sue gave her a little gardening set, and she loved watering the flowers...and me!


When all turns quiet in our house, nine times out of ten, I know where to find her...She loves to read, and today she had taken books off the shelf and carefully perused through them all. So sweet!

She's a "Handy-girl"!

This Saturday Brian and Payton went to Lowes and participated in the kid's craft they have there on Saturdays. This was pirate treasure box week so Payton came home with this little box and a HUGE smile on her face, so proud of herself! Her friend Jonah went with them, and they got their own apron, goggles, certificate, and a patch to put on their apron like cub scouts! I think she may take after her daddy and be pretty crafty! I can't wait until the next time to see what she comes home with!

Friday night we got the chance to be given some NWA Naturals tickets, and it was so fun, but HOT! I wish you could see up close Payton's shirt, it had a ring of sweat around it, and her hair was literally dripping. Our seats were so good, and Payton loved watching the big screen. It brought Brian and me back to some good old Traveler days, the girl in front of us got an ice cream in a hat, and if you ever frequented a traveler game, you probably had an icee in a cap! Such good memories, Thanks Annette!!

Man, it is hot out here!!

Now we're cookin!

Well, it has been a long time since we bought this fun play house from our friend Pearce, and it was my goal to find a cheap kitchen to keep outside in it. Granna Sue became the garage sale queen and she found one in Little Rock. Only one problem...it was in Little Rock! It would never fit in the back of my Honda with all our other travel things, so we had a friend bring it up for us and now it is in its place! Payton loves it and I can tell there are going to be many yummy meals to come!

This is not the picture that I wanted to put here...I will keep looking for it, but at about this same time, Brian started his Masters at the University of Arkansas. There were many hard nights, but we pressed through it knowing that we would rather get it over with now while Payton was small. After almost 2 years, Brian is done!!! He took his final test last night!! Brian, we are so proud of you. You have put our famliy first and made your school seem effortess, when I know it was hard. You have such dedication and work ethic. We love you so much!!
