It's not Kindergarten, it just feels like it...

Payton started her Mothers Day Out on Monday and it was a success! I was a little nervous dropping her off, I knew she would do fine...it was me I was worried about! Sure enough, she walked right it and found some friends, and I walked out bawling..so sad. I have left her many times, but not that long, and she was supposed to nap there...would she??? Yes!! When it was time to pick her up, she was still asleep! It took her awhile to fall asleep, but her teachers said she just laid there and talked to herself!
I had a good day while she was there, I went and got a pedicure, and had lunch with a friend....it won't be like this everytime, but this first time I needed that!

Happy Birthday Payton!!!

Well...I am sure some of you were wondering if I had dropped off the face of the planet...I didn't, but our computer did! We had to get a new hard drive on our computer, and we are finally back online! I have been dying to post some of these sweet birthday pics!
We had such a fun party, it was awesome if I say so myself. But I am not boasting, and I had a lot of help. She had a cupcake themed party, and we had all her little girlfriends come over. We played in the pool, and jumped in our friend Paige's bouncy house, and played in the sand and water table. It was a warm day, but the shade and the breeze really helped out. The kids had a blast, and I loved watching them. I can't believe that it has been 2 years since she was born. She is getting so big, and says something new everyday. I hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Oh how the time flies! It seems like just yesterday we were getting everything ready for her big 1 year party, and now it is 2! We are having a cupcake party this year with some of her girl friends, and we can't wait!
I just can't get over how much she has changed in a year! She is so much taller and her hair is finally growing...she is so smart, and ahhh it makes me just smile on the inside because she is MINE..well OURS! We haven't been to the Dr. for her check-up yet, but we did weight her the other day, and she is 36 pounds! I think her shoes were on...hee hee. I can't wait for the big day, I am sure there will be much more pics to come!

We're so sporty!

My parents came to visit this week to help me work and to celebrate Pop Pop's birthday and Brian's graduation. We decided after the rain stopped to head to the Naturals game. The weather was AWESOME! The breeze was cool, and it was the perfect night for a ballgame. We were given free tickets when we arrived from Arvest bank, and then it was kids night! The kids got a free hot dog, chips, and a drink. Payton had never had a hot dog before...I know I am a weird mom, she is almost 2 and has never had a hot dog...but anyway, she LOVED it! You can see she couldn't eat it fast enough! Brian's quote for the night, "We should come to these games more often when we get in free and get free food..." That is my hubby!

Last weekend we went with Daddy to play a 9 hole course by our house. Payton loved driving the cart and riding along with the wind blowing through her hair. This is something we will defiantly be doing again!

It's a zoo out there!

Last week we got to go to the Tulsa Zoo with the "Senior Adults" from First Baptist Springdale. Our friend Alesha's dad is the pastor there, and he was driving the big bus, so we got to go along! The pictures are backwards, but you can tell that we had such a good time. The weather was more that perfect, it felt like Fall, and we enjoyed all the animals and then we went to Piccadilly Cafe for lunch!

Look at all that food! Yumm!

We loved the train, Payton kept saying, "Choo Choo!!"

Our two little penguins...Payton and Presley...

We give the bus ride two thumbs up! We will have to go back soon, we loved the zoo!

Some of my favorite things...

I decided to have P help me water the plants the other day. Granna Sue gave her a little gardening set, and she loved watering the flowers...and me!

When all turns quiet in our house, nine times out of ten, I know where to find her...She loves to read, and today she had taken books off the shelf and carefully perused through them all. So sweet!
