Snow Snow and more Snow!

Cheese!! I am a ham!

A big thumbs up! I love sledding!

We got to go sledding down our friend Presley's hill, and her cousins brought over a mattress! It was great! All the kids could go down at the same time!

Ok well I know I am a little behind posting some of our snow pictures from this crazy nwa weather! The first snow was fun...the second was great...the third one is getting a litte annoying! I love the snow and how pretty it is, but I am ready to go back to the park!

I guess we are getting ready...

Here is a belly pic of me at Brian's cousin Casey's wedding January 22nd. I think I am about 30 weeks here...

Well...I guess we are getting ready for this new little one to come. We have been working really hard cleaning our our office to transform it to a nursrey. It was an OFFICE...it had desk, computer, tv, couch....an OFFICE and not to mention tons of my old school things. So...after some help from Brian's parents and a huge haul to goodwill, we got rid of so much! I felt better after Brian put the crib back together and the chair and changing table are in place. The changing table still has a printer on it...but for the most part the rough pieces are in place. We still have a lot of work to do!

Saturday was a fun Razorback day with the basketball game in the afternoon, and the bowl game that night! Well...fun, until we lost the basketball game in the last 2 seconds...but I will let Brian comment on that. We met our friend Paige there and sat with them during the game. Toward the end of the game, the Wood Family and Justin Hunter came to sit with us. Brian Wood and Brian lived together in collage and they, along with Justin were AVID basketball fans in their day, and would all go to games together, get there early, and sit on the front row of the student section. It was so funny to watch them back together again....with kids! They were a little toned down thanks to the small ears who were listening!

Well...the crowd was a little lacking...that's some fair weather fans!

The popcorn was a huge hit. It kept us in our seat for a looong time!

Birthday Ice Skating!

After a yummy pizza dinner at Guidos, we headed to the Jones center with our friends the Stams, to take the girls Ice Skating for Brian's B-day! It was awesome! We were all taking bets to see how long they would last...5 min..10 min..maybe..but they loved it! Payton has been wanting to ice skate for a long time, she saw it on Sesame Street one day, and it was the perfect cold weather activity!

Corbin and Presley ready to go!

Getting on our skates! Good thing the smallest size they had was a toddler 9! Just our size!

And we are off!

I got to sit on the side lines with Maddyn, the Stam's new baby...it was good practice for the future!

We ended the night with some cake. It was such a fun evening! Happy Birthday Dad! Can we go back soon??

Birthday Preperations!

We had a big birthday at our house yesterday! Our sweet Daddy!! Payton and I worked all morning to get the house ready and the cake made. I had some great help in the baking department! We made his favorite, yellow cake with chocolate icing. I decided to spruce it up a little bit and add chocolate chips...and a word of advice, when you make it in a bunt pan...all the chips sink the the bottom, which it the top of the cake, and then you have no chips in your cake! But it was good anyway! Happy Birthday Daddy!

We got snow while we were gone over Christmas! We came home to a white yard! Even day 3 there is still snow on the ground.

I knew if I bought these snow bibs, that they would come in handy! They are so cute!

Nothing like a little hot cocoa after we came in to warm us up! Yummy!

Cookies with Ava

Our friend Ava came over Yesterday to play and we decided to make some Chrismas cookies! I let the girls mix the dough, roll out the dough, and make thier own cookies! It was quite and experience! The girls really did have a ball, and it kept them so entertained! I did learn one thing...next time you make cookies with 2 year olds...make sure it isn't the same night you are having wine club at your house! It was quite a mess as you can see!! But all worth it!
